Benissa Costa offers an unparalleled combination of tranquility, luxury and beauty. You will find breathtaking cliffs and hidden coves along a pristine coastline.
A challenging golf course with beautiful views can be found whilst the surrounding mountains are ideal for hikers and cyclists. La Fustera, Cala Baladrar and Cala Pinets are the best known but by no means the only coves worth visiting. The historic center of Benissa surprises with an impressive church, charming streets and cozy boutiques. The language you will be greeted in is Valencian and the town exudes a powerful Mediterranean charm. Do not leave before having tasted the typical arroz a banda. Benissa is without doubt the ultimate vacation destination for epicureans.
Moraira
Explore and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere
As you walk from the impressive marina towards the old town, you get to discover the Castillo de Moraira, a small fortress right by the sea. Atmospheric squares and narrow streets host a wide choice of original stores and cozy bars.
Moraira is still very much a fishing village. Be sure to ask for the catch of the day in one of the excellent restaurants or visit the fish auction or Lonja de Pescado. With none less than eight kilometers of coastline several beaches and coves wait to be explored by water sports enthusiasts. For beach lovers, Playa Portet is an absolute must-see. This small bay is an oasis of tranquility and still one of Moraira's best kept secrets. If you visit Moraira once, you will always find yourself returning for more.
Javea
Trendy hot spot from dusk till dawn
Start the day with a walk through the Montgó Natural Park or along the cliffs of Cap de la Nao, and marvel at the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea. In the historic city, loose yourself in the charming winding streets around the square with its imposing church.
The indoor market or so-called "mercado Municipal" is a well-kept secret, where you can stop for picking up fresh groceries, as well as for enjoying a drink and something to eat, in one of the market's many lively bars, bustling with Spanish locals. Another must-see is the picturesque fishing port with its fish auction, preferably followed by a meal in one of the local restaurants where you can taste the freshly caught fish.
In turn, a seemingly endless list of beaches and coves invites you to relax and enjoy. El Arenal beach is known and loved for its many restaurants, while the pristine Playa de Granadella enchants with crystal clear turquoise water and absolute tranquility. It is not for nothing that this paradisiacal beach is annually included in the top 10 of Spain's most beautiful beaches.
Javea also boasts several trendy beach bars and restaurants that are usually open from early morning until long after sunset. Regardless of whether you are an early bird or a night owl, you can rest assured that Javea never disappoints. Curious about this hip coastal city? Benidorm
Vibrant entertainment along an impressive skyline
Benidorm is both famous and infamous. Experience the contrast between the popular and crowded Levante beach and the peaceful, quiet Poniente beach.
At nightfall, bustling Benidorm really comes alive. With an array of clubs, cocktail bars, live music and entertainment, the night beckons seductively. But there is also plenty of entertainment during the day. In old Benidorm, charming narrow streets lead you past the many stores to the iconic San Jaime church and the Castillo de Benidorm. This stunning vantage point is the place to be for your vacation snapshots. The many terraces along the expansive boulevards are sun-drenched and inviting. Spanish tapas, Fish & Chips or exotic world cuisine, you can easily find it in Benidorm. The residents of Benidorm cannot say it often enough; "Benidorm lo tiene todo," which means as much as "Benidorm has it all.
Polop
Postcard village in the green inland
The winding streets of the historic center point the way to the Moorish castle with spectacular views of the surrounding valley. The so-called "Plaza de los Chorros" is probably one of the most surprising and unique squares in the Costa Blanca and far beyond.
This lush village square with more than 200 water fountains and inlaid coats of arms of the main surrounding villages is the beating heart of Polop, an authentic Spanish village. Here is where the locals gather for a chat and, of course, to get water. In nearby Fonts de l'Algar, you can hike, swim and relax in a natural park with shallow natural pools and stunning waterfalls. Don't forget to stop at one of the many roadside fruit stalls and taste the juicy yellow-orange fruit nispero, a delicious local fruit. Polop is a traditional Spanish town that invites you to slow down and enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle.
